Products: fired&unfired basic/non-basic shaped/unshaped products

Reporting line: Department Heads of Main Product Groups

I. Key Result Areas:

1.Participate new product development projects for improved product performance;

2.Carry out experiments in support of new product development projects;

3.Carry out experiments to increase fundamental understanding of products and processes;

4.Participate the technical activities of the material characterization;

5.Provide support to marketing/sales/SCM/plants;

6.Identify and implement improvements in R&D tests, processes and equipment to yield a safer working environment and better quality R&D results;

7.Collaborate with internal colleagues and external scientists and follows technology advances in literature, conferences and trade shows;

8.Maintain the H&S standards required in the laboratory and plants;

9.Technical/engineering supports for marketing and sales, postmortem investigation of used bricks to determine the wear reason.

II.Qualifications:

1.Master’s or above in Materials or Ceramic Science/Engineering or related field or bachelor's degree in those field if experience in materials science R&D exceeds 3 years;

2.Significant knowledge of applied materials science and engineering for high temperature structural applications is required. Knowledge in the following subject areas is very desirable as well:
1) Ceramic processing
2) Non-Oxide (nitride or carbide) ceramics
3) Technical/advanced ceramics
4) Mechanics or processing of composite materials
5) Carbon based materials for structural applications

6) Deep knowledge in Steel industry, Cement, NFM and EEC;

3.The candidate must have excellent English and Chinese in both written and oral forms;

4.Open and flexible minded, initiative, efficiency;

III.S kills & Behavior:

The candidate must be self-motivated and also be able to perform as a member of a team,
the candidate must have good attention to details; Excellent in Microsoft Office, Good knowledge of SAP;

1.The candidate must be able to solve problems independently or collaboratively and to anticipate alternative strategies to accomplish the same goal;

The candidate must be able to deliver projects/tasks on time with minimal contribution from the manager;
